Other Sedation Options We Offer

Nitrous Oxide Sedation

For patients who struggle with a mild form of anxiety, nitrous oxide can provide just the right amount of relief. Nitrous oxide, which is also known as laughing gas, that is inhaled through a special mask and goes to work quickly. During your appointment, you will feel a sense of peace and comfort as Dr. Krunal Patel or Dr. Aditi Patel helps you with the procedure.

When your procedure is over, we will remove your mask, and the effects of the nitrous oxide will begin to wear off. Within just a few minutes, you will feel like your natural self again.

Oral Conscious Sedation

Oral conscious sedation is a great option for patients with mild or even moderate dental anxiety. It works using a safe and commonly prescribed medication that induces feelings of relaxation. On the day of your procedure, you will take your medication as prescribed by Dr. Krunal Patel or Dr. Aditi Patel.

Once it has taken effect, we will make sure you are comfortable before beginning your treatment. When your procedure is over, you will need to have a friend or family member drive you home. The effects of your sedation should wear off within a few hours, but we recommend waiting until the next day to return to your normal routines.
